If you’re looking for a wonderful exploration of the body in motion you should get down to the British Film Institute this month — they’re showing a series of films about dance. I’m especially excited about Wim Wenders’ documentary about choreographer Pina Bausch. Part investigation and part tribute to Pina, who died during the filming, it showcases her extraordinary ability to re-imagine the possibilities of dance. Wenders had unique access to many of her devoted dancers, some of who worked with her for decades. Visit BFI for details and tickets.
