This cauliflower crust pizza recipe is from DeliciouslyElla.com which has a vast array of healthy eating recipes and tips. This one jumped out because, well, who doesn’t like pizza? The classic white-dough-and-cheese affair isn’t exactly a health food dream, though, so it is nice to see someone reinvent it for a more discerning audience.

Ingredients

Makes 1 pizza

– 1 cauliflower

– 1 cup of brown rice or buckwheat flour

– 1/4 of a cup of ice cold water

– 1 tablespoon of tamari

– 1 lemon

– dried oregano

– dried basil

– salt

For the topping

– Tomato puree

– Sliced tomatoes

– Sweetcorn

– Sliced mushrooms

– Fresh basil leaves

– A sprinkling of salt and pepper
